Brief Description: Completed Balancing Ailerons and Installing Ailero
Completed balancing of ailerons as per Sonex Specification-Aileron to be level to 1/2 inch up at trailing edge. I had previously rough balanced before painting and left counterweights a little heavy so I did have to remove a little lead from right aileron and actually add a little weight to left aileron to compensate for some bondo I added to repair minor dent. Completed final rigging of aileron controls, locked jam nuts on paddle set screws and installed cotter keys. Had to make a special wrench to tighten jam nuts on inboard paddles. Installed and made final adjustments to flaps and operating linkage. Happy with the way control surfaces on wings came out and the way they operat
