In the process of elongating holes in bulkhead as per a Sonex drawing revision I found that the elevator control rods were .005" to .010 bigger in diameter than the slot widths. Widened the entire length of the slots by .060" to .070". Much easier to do this now without the turtle deck on. If you wait until you are installing the control rod to check this it will be much more difficult to do from the bottom access. I am glad that I have not done the final installation of the turtle deck.
