Finished updrilling left side folding wing including the aileron hinge. Dimpled ribs and skin forward of main spar-both top and bottom. Disassembled, deburred and reattached skin. Cannot complete riveting at this time-waiting for control drawings.
Note: I found using an 8 penny double head nail with the dimmpling die worked better than the common nail that came with the die. They are stronger and it is easier to install the bottom part of the die when you have to reach under the skin for example. Also ground a small flat spot on bottom die so it would fit flat on the ribs. In a few places,the bottom die got too close to the inside radius of the rib flange and would not lay flat.
