Brief Description:  Flight Test Phase

First flight was on 5-21-2014 amd firsrt landing was good. Since then not much has gone right. More oil leaks than you could imagine and I was very careful building the engine. The push rod tubes were the first big problem as they all leaked even tho I made a jig to measure the stretch length of each one. After replacing them I still had a major leak from the bottom of one cylinder right at the base of the jug. I did not notice that there was not sufficient enough surface on the crankcase for the cylinder shims to seal against. This was caused by a poor machining job when the inserts fot the cylinder studs were installed. Repair was made by thoroughly cleaning the area, adding a little JB weld to make a sealing surface and using 1211 sealer instead of aviation permatex. I also stoned the shims as there were some high spots on the shims where they were stamped out. Oil leaks fixed and now the engine doesn't run very well. Replaced the AeroInjector with a Rotec(AUS) and that has turned out to not be a very good move as I cannot get the engine to run at full throttle. Exhaust leaks as the flanges were deformed during the fabrication process and the exhaust pipe actually stuck out above the flange.
