Installed temporary bolts to hold cover of oil pump on to pump. aeroVee Manual calls for clearance between gerars and cover plate to be 0.000" to 0.004". Set up dial indicator on shaft with gears touching cover plate, raised shaft to check end play and showed 0.0025" which is in tolerance. Manual says tighter the better
