Brief Description:  Exhaust Part 1

Secured the fuel pump-to-servo fuel line to the #2 cylinder intake tube with two adel clamps.

Removed the fuel servo from the engine and moved the fuel outlet fitting from the fuel outlet port on the bottom of the servo to the alternate fuel output port on the top. Moved the plug from the alternate output port to the outlet port. This will allow for a shorter, more direct path for the fuel lines from the fuel servo to the distribution block. Reinstalled the fuel servo on the engine.

Began installation of the exhaust system. The AWI exhaust uses a series of cable loops to hang the aft end from the fuselage. The cables are secured to the fuselage by steel blocks welded to a steel plate which gets bolted to the forward edge of the exhaust ramp. Tonight I marked and drilled the tunnel skin and lower firewall angle with four #12 holes. The holes were located between existing rivets and in the center of the firewall angle flange to leave sufficient edge distance.

Deburred the holes and bolted the plate in place with four AN3-4 bolts and metal lock nuts.
