Cut out cardboard templates matching the shape of the forward, middle and aft openings in the lower part of the canopy frame that supports the canopy skirt. Per the plans these areas are uncovered, exposing the inside of the skirt and in the case of my canopy the bottom of the canopy bubble will be seen because I'm planning to open the rivet holes up to 1/4" diameter (with silicone tubing bushings) which means the bubble sides will be a little longer. I' thinking about making some interior panels using fiberglass sheets with fabric or faux leather wrapped around them velcroed to the inside of the canopy skirt so I made the templates while both sides of the frame were still open.
Decided on a (hopefully) final location of the LH canopy skirt. Drilled an 11/16" diameter hole for the canopy handle.
Started drilling the holes in the skirt for mounting it to the frame. Installed clecos
