Fabricated a drill guide from a scap piece of hard wood. Clamped the drill guide in place between the elevator horns and drilled the LH horn to match the RH one.
Poured liquid primer into the ID of the aft elevtor control rod. Rotated the rod while it was nearly vertical to cover al of the inside surface. Hung the control rod over a bucket to allow any excess primer to drain.
Cut the middle elevator control rod to length, inserted the threaded ends and match drilled the rivet holes. Proured primer inside and hung it to drain and dry.
