Installed the RH wing tip on the RH wing. The fit looked good.
Removed the wingtip and applied electrical tape to the edge of the wing and hinge to act as a release barrier. Reinstalled the RH wing tip, applied a strip of making tape to the outboard edge of the wing overlapping the electrical tape.
Mixed up a batch of dry micro and used it to fill the gap between the wing tip and wing. I only applied it to the aft portion of the RH wing lower surface in case the micro squeezes into the hinge and cures. I figured it will be easier to get the tip off if only a portion of it is bonded rather than the whole thing.
