Brief Description: Epoxied rivet holes in bottom flange of LH wing ti
After match drilling the LH wing tip to the wing I noticed that the trailing edge of the tip was significantly misaligned with the aleron an flap. The inboard edge lined up but the tip was angled downward so the the trailing edge at the outboard edge was significantly lower. I removed the clecos from the bottom side and alighed the tips trailing edge with the alieron. The holes were off by about 1/64 of an inch.
I deciede to epoxy the holes closed and redrill them with the TE aligned. I used West Systems epoxy with 406 filler to plug the holes, taped over the holes with electical tape and let it sit overnight to cure.
