Mounted the heater controller for the Dynon pitot tube to the wing rib just outboard of the bellcrank in the LH wing. Bolting the controller directly to the rib would have caused it to ride on top of the formed–in stiffener in the wing rib causing a stress point on the bottom of the controller. To prevent this I fabricated spacers cut from the flanges from scrap fuel tank attach angles (about .063” thick). The spacers were drilled to match the holes in the nutplates and then countersunk for flush rivets. I then attached the nutplates and spacers to the rib and bolted the controller in place.
