Installed a ring terminal on the Reiff harness ground wire and conneced it to an engine case bolt.
Replaced the oil temperature sensor crush washer and tightened the sensor 135 degrees after contract per the Lycoming overhaul manual.
Tightened a hose clamp around the flats of the sensor and installed safety wire between the hose clamp and the engine case. This is recommended by Dynon to keep the sensor from backing out.
Removed the Garmin GMA 245 intercom from the panel and flipped DIP switch 3 down to turn on the "Mute on com Tx" function. This should solve the bleed issue between com 1 and com 2 reported by the test piot.
Reinstalled the upper cowl, ran a 6 foot appliance extension cord though the oil door and plugged in the Reiff heater. Plugged the other end of the exension into a wifi outlet that was plugged into a long extension cord. Coverd the cowl with a couple of moving blankets and installed the cowl plugs.
