I met with the DAR today and went over the paperwork. He looked over the airplane and was complimentary about the workmanship. The only issue he found was that there needs to be placards stating the maximum baggage weights for each baggage area per Van's design. I printed out labels using my label maker and adhered them in place in the forward and aft baggage areas.
The DAR signed my airframe log book and gave me the airworthiness certificate and operating limitations, It's now legal to fly.
