Brief Description:  Wings on for good

Installed the remaining wing root end nut plates.

Prepped for final wing installation. Ran wires through the wing conduit from the root to the tip. Routed the roll servo wiring into the fuselage and installed an additional Adel clamp in the inboard wing rib to keep the wires away from the aileron pushrod. Routed the pitot heat and stall warning wires into the fuselage.

Reinserted the wings into the fuselage and held them in place using the pins I had made from hardware store bolts. Then I installed the close tolerance bolts. They had been kept in my freezer for the previous week so they were good and cold. This morning I put them in a cooler with ice packs and they stayed cold until I took them out to install them. All 16 bolts went in relatively easily with a little persuasion from my rivet gun with a brass rivet set installed. Most of the bolts caught on the sheet metal when exiting the holes on the forward side and deformed the sheet metal, but once enough threads were showing I was able to push the sheet metal back into place by putting a nut and washer on the bolt and tightening the nut.

Once all 16 bolts were in installed I put three washers on each, on the forward side, then tightened and torqued the nuts.

Installed the four AN4-13 bolts that go in the aft side of the spar into the nutplates that had previously been installed.

Installed the aft spar attach bolt, washers and nuts. Torqued the nuts. Still need to install cotter pins.
