Brief Description: Final install of empenage on fuselage part 1
Wet sanded and painted the horizontal stabilizer tips
Installed the com 2 antenna
Tested the radios. There’s a squeal when transmitting on com 1 which will need some troubleshooting.
Bolted the horizontal stab to the fuselage. Torqued and torque striped the bolts
Drilled a 1/4 hole in the inboard rib of the LH horizontal stab. Installed a snap bushing . Routed the pitch trim wire through the snap bushing just installed and the snap bushing in the aft spar on the LH side of the horizontal stab.
Installed an Adel clamp to the fuselage aft deck to secure the pitch trim wire
