My brother-in-law borrowed a car trailer and pulled it with his pickup. The trailer was just long enough and we had to put the fuselage on facing backwards because the trailer bed has a taper near the front and the main wheels would hit the taper before the tailwheel was on if we put it on facing front.
We secured the fuselage to the trailer using ratchet straps around the tops of the grove gear legs and around the tailwheel.
The 14-mile trip to the airport was uneventful and the fuselage is tucked away in its new home .
