Drilled the holes for the oil door latch in the door skin.
Made a trial wet lay up on a scrap fiberglass laminate to experiment with the Soric core material that I'm planning to use to stiffen the oil door. I applied resin to the laminate and then placed the Soric on top. Next, I poured resin over the Soric and spread it evenly over the surface. I cut a piece of fiberglass a little longer that the Soric on all sides and laid it on top. I tried to form the excess fabric over the edges of the Soric and on to the cured laminate but I couldn't get it tightly into the corners without bridging so I cut one edge even with the Soric to see how that looks after cure.
Sanded the pin filler epoxy resin on the snorkel and sprayed a coat of high build primer on it.
