Replaced the bolt holding the throttle cable to the throttle arm on the fuel servo with a shorter one and installed a cotter pin.
Cut a piece of foam to fit against the inside of the snorkel at the right end where a hole was cut for clearance from the alternator bracket. I tried to use another piece of foam to hold the first in place like I did for the other patch in the snorkel, but there was too much curvature and the foam wouldn't stay in place. Since that didn’t work, I'm trying something different for this hole. I bought a bag of party balloons, inserted one into the snorkel through the fuel servo opening and blew it up with my air compressor. It formed to the shape of the snorkel and held the foam tightly in place.
Next I sanded a bowl shape in the foam and applied a layer of epoxy/micro to seal the pin holes. When it cures, I'll apply a few layers of wax and layup the repair plies. Hopefully the balloon will remain fully inflated long enough for the plies to cure.
