Brief Description:  Baffles part 13

Long, productive day.

Working one side at a time I trimmed the top of the snorkel and fit the air filter support structure. This took a long time to get it right and required the snorkel to be installed and removed numerous times.

Drilled #40 holes in the snorkel for the rivets that will attach it to the air filter support flanges. These will ultimately be opened up to #30.

Cut the hole in the side of the snorkel for the alternate air door mount. Match drilled the rivet holes into the snorkel. Dimpled the holes in the mount and bent the tab at the top of the mount that holes the door in place when it's closed.

Sanded and solvent cleaned the faying surface on the snorkel. Applied epoxy/flox to the underside of alternate air door mount and clecoed it in place. The epoxy/flox will fill the open areas between the door mount and the snorkel to create a flat surface to which the door mount will be riveted
