Trimmed the fiberglass extension on the forward edge of the lower cowl. Replaced the upper cowl to check the fit with the new extension. It took a couple of iterations but it looks good now with a 1/16" gap.
Cut the forward most Skybolt flange to fit the cowl, drilled rivet holes and riveted it in place.
