Used one of the extra Skybolt flanges to fabricate a filler flange to be riveted to the lower cowl aft of the row of Skybolt flanges to cover the gap between the two cowl halves. Match drilled the filler tab and lower cowl.
Drilled #20 holes in all of the Skybolt flanges for the RH row for flox rivets to add additional strength to secure the flanges to the cowl.
Countersunk the Skybolt flange rivet holes in the lower cowl
Scuffed and cleaned the faying surfaces of the Skybolt flanges. Sanded the top RH edge of the lower cowl.
Applied epoxy/flox to the #20 holes in the Skybolt flanges and riveted the flanges to the lower cowl.
