Sanded the aft end of the upper cowl a little more to improve the fit on the fuselage.
Used the Skybolt cleco grommets as drill guides to drill #30 holes through the upper cowl skin at each Skybolt flanges along the firewall. In some places there wasn't enough room under the cowl to drill from the inside. In those areas I drew lines on the boot cowl that lined up with the center lines of the skybolt holes and measured to the center of the hole from a known distance. Replaced the cowl, measured and marked the hole centers and drilled #30 holes. Installed clecos using the skybolt cleaco retainer.
Cut the upper cowl for the oil dip stick access hole leaving a 3/8 inch flange. Cut the oil door to fit the recess in the upper cowl.
