Removed the vinyl tubing from the manifold pressure sensor to replace it with rubber hose which will hold up better in the harsh environment under the cowl. I also recently read that the MP line needs a restriction in it to dampen out fluctuations that result from the cycling of the piston. To create a restriction I flattened a 5/32" rivet until it fit tightly in the end of the hose nipple in the sensor manifold. I then drilled a small hole through the rivet and installed it in the end of the nipple. The hole is roughly the same size as the hole in the restrictor fitting that comes with the Van's MP kit.
Installed the rubber hose on the MP sensor and manifold block nipple.
Completed the alternator b-lead wire routing - Clamped it to the engine mount in two places. Trimmed it to length and crimped a 5/16" ring terminal on the end. Attached the aft end of the B-lead to the ANL fuse. Secured it to the existing wire bundle with string ties.
