Fabricated engine ground strap - Pulled one piece of braided bonding strap material through another to make a strap that is equivalent to a #2 cable. Crimped a ΒΌ inch ring terminal on one end and attached the ring terminal to an engine sump bolt under the engine accessory case.
Secured the forward end of the strap to the engine mount with two Adel clamps to act as a strain relief for the ring terminal. Worked out the routing of the strap to the firewall stud. Marked and cut the strap to length. Crimped a 5/16 inch ring terminal to the aft end and attached the ring terminal to the stud on the firewall that is common to the forest of tabs on the aft side of the firewall.
Secured the ground strap to the engine mount near the aft end ring terminal.
