Brief Description:  More wheel alignment

Checked the wheel alignment again using the method I used when I drilled the holes for the landing gear legs. I removed the axels and clamped a 48 inch long angle on to each gear leg. The LH side had the .75 degree spacer between the angle and the gear leg. I used the line I had laid out on the floor yesterday using plumb lines centered forward and aft on the fuselage to measure the distances from the front and back of the angles to the center line. Doing the math I determined that the LH side has a toe out of .26 degrees and the RH side has a toe in of .60 degrees. I’m going to replace the .75 degree shim on the LH side with a .5 degree shim which will bring it back to close to zero. I’ll then put the .75 degree shim from the LH side on the RH side which will bring it to .15 degree toe out which is within spec.
