Brief Description: Passenger warnings and landing gear bolts
Applied the “Experimental” sticker and passenger warning label on the right hand rear cabin side wall. These are required by the FAA since the aircraft will have an experimental airworthiness certificate.
Replaced the NAS6206-32 close tolerance outboard landing gear bolts with NAS6606-32 bolts. Both have the same strength specs and grip length, but the NAS6606 bolts are slightly longer and have a few more threads. When using the bolt retaining clips that I installed earlier, the NAS6206 bolts are a bit two short and don’t have enough threads showing when the nuts are tightened. The NAS6606 bolts will have about 3 threads showing which is per spec. Thanks to Michael Foss at RV-8 Hangar.com for the tip.
