Installed the nut plates for the wing tip lens. Countersunk the lens and installed them with flat head screws and Tinnerman washers.
Covered the periphery of the IML side of the LH lens with Teflon tape. Applied car wax to the Teflon tape. Spread some dry micro on a small section of the flange for the lens and celcoed the lens in place. This is a test to try making a liquid shim to match the wingtip surface to the lens. I only did a small section to make sure the lens comes off OK when the epoxy cures.
