Brief Description:  Roll servo part 3 and sanding wing tip micro

Sanded the micro I had applied to the gaps between the wing tips and wings. Removed the wing tips. The RH one needed a little coaxing with a rubber mallet. Put the tips on the bench and did some additional sanding. They need more micro but I want to wait until I stiffen the skins so they'll hold their final shape. The stiffeners will be laid up using fiberglass over some closed cell backer rod that I ordered from Amazon.

Removed the roll servo from the wing. Drilled #30 rivet holes in the wing rib and at the roll servo CPC bracket. Drilled a 3/8 inch hole in the wing rib and installed a snap bushing, The roll servo harness will be routed through this snap bushing and then up to the CPC connector.

Scuffed, cleaned and primed the CPC connector bracket and clecoed it to the rib.

Removed the D-sub connector from the roll servo pigtail and cut off the pins. I then terminated the pigtail wires with D-Sub sockets since the flanged connector that will be bolted to the bracket contains the pins. Installed the CPC connector and back shell on the pigtail.

Cut the D-sub sockets from the roll servo wire harness. Installed D-sub pins.
