Match drilled the rivet holes in the canopy bow reinforcement strip. Trimmed the front edge to align with the front of the canopy. Trimmed the aft edge 7/8" from the front. Sanded and applied two coats of epoxy to the OML for pinhole filler.
Sanded down the micro on the RH IML surface of the canopy skirt. Applied three coats of epoxy for pin hole filling (let each coat get firm between coats).
Applied dry micro to the LH IML surface of the canopy skirt
Painted a red warning flag on the canopy latch. This will not be visible to the pilot when the canopy is latched but will be when it's open. The idea is if you see red it's not latched.
