Brief Description:  Canopy skirts part 9

Fabricated a "C" shaped cover/spacer to go over the canopy rail at the aft end of the skirt. This will provide a slight gap between the rail and the fiberglass that I'm preparing to layup in this area. The fiberglass will splice the two skirt halves as well as form a channel at the aft end to fit over the rail.

Fabricated a new aluminum splice strap which holds the skirt halves more tightly together.

Removed the clecos from the aft 1/4 of the skirts. Covered the fuselage, rail and "C" cover with clear packing tape. Placed clay under the aft end of the skirts at the splice and formed tit so tht the skirts just touch when clecoed in place. Filled gaps with clay to act as a mold for the fiberglass. This was just a trial to see if it will work. I still need to sand scarf joints into the skirts
