Brief Description:  Canopy skirts part 7

Continued fitting the canopy skirts Trimmed the tops for a 1/2" edge distance from the top row of rivets. Trimmed the bottoms s to match the seams where the forward and aft top skins overlap the lowers. I found that with all clecos forward of the rear curve installed and none installed aft of the curve I was able to pull the aft part of the skirts up and towards the center which caused the curve areas of the skins to "suck in" to the fuselage. This was an idea I saw on VAF. Drilled a new rivet hole in the LH skin near the aft end of the canopy to hold the skirt in place. Taped the RH skirt to the left one at the aft end. Checked fit. Everything looks good and will require minimal shimming and filling to make the fit nearly perfect.

Removed the skirts and filled with epoxy/flox the holes in the aft sections that no longer lined up due to the repositioning of the aft end of the skirts.
