Made two more 1/4 inch cuts from the front of the canopy where it contacts the upper forward skin. Marked with sharpie, moved to the top of the finish kit box, trimmed with cutoff wheel in die grinder, rounded jagged cuts with dremel sanding drum, Smoothed the cut edge with belt sander with 80 grind then 120 grit. The last step was to polish the edge with a scotchbrite wheel in the die grinder.
Used the dremel sanding drum to open up notches where the bubble touched the canopy frame.
After the second cut, the top of the bubble is about .070" from the rollbar. Hopefully the next cut will bring it into contact.
