Wet sanded, cleaned and painted the receptacle for the forward end of the canopy slide.
Removed the battery, transponder and ELT and placed the forward plywood work platform in the baggage area. Bolted the canopy slider rail to the fuselage. Had to crawl into the aft baggage area to reach the four aft most locations. Ken turned the screws from the outside.
Cut the LH and RH canopy rails to length and cut a relief notch in the forward ends to clear the base plate of the roll bar. Clamped the rails in place.
Assembled the canopy roller assemblies and slid them into the roller rails. Placed the canopy frame on the fuselage with the roller assemblies plugged in at the forward end.
Used a1/16 inch thick plate as a spacer to set the height of the canopy frame lock pin from the canopy slider track cap. Marked the slider block for the hole location.
