Brief Description:  Canopy slide rails part 2

Sprayed Spraymax matte clear coat on the panel label test sample that I had made a few months ago. Started with a very thin coat, almost a light dusting and then spray additional, thicker coats every ten minutes for about 6 coats. The paint covered well without crazing and sealed the dry transfer label. This looks like it will work well for the panel although I think I'll order some satin finish cans to try. The matte is a little bit rough.

Continued fabrication of the canopy slide spacer and slide cap. Finished bending the cap to match the spacer. Laid out and drilled all of the holes for the rivets which will hold the two parts together as well as the holes for the bolts that will attach the assembly to the fuselage.

Deburred all holes

Machine countersank the 3/32 rivet holes.
