Brief Description:  Avionics bay ground block

Solder spliced wire extensions on two of the ground wires that were too short to reach the avionics bay ground block.

Installed a standoff on the forward cross cabin support. The standoff will be used to support an Adel clamp to hold the ground wires going to the avionics bay "forest of tab" ground block.

Removed the ground block. Drilled a #12 hole in the lower inboard corner of the ground block. Cut the nylon spacers down to ~.25". Reinstalled the ground block.

Cut a #6 wire to length to run between the avionics bay ground block and the ground block that will be on the firewall. Terminated one end with a ring terminal. Bolted the ring terminal to the avionics bay ground block and routed the #6 wire to the firewall.

Cut about half of the avionics bay ground wires and terminated them with crimp on spade terminals. Connected the spade terminals to the tabs on the avionics bay ground block. Ran out of red (18-24 gauge) spade terminals and had to order more.

Cut the Com 1 antenna coax to length and installed expandable sleeving and a BNC connector on the cut end. Connected it the coax to the IFD440 tray.

Cut the flap motor wires to length and terminated them with molex receptacles. Secure the molex connector with a stick on zip tie anchor.
