Cut the rear stick to initial length. Still not sure what the length should be. It needs to be short enough so that it doesn’t contact the pilot’s seat back when the stick is full forward
Drilled the holes in the front stick to mount the stick grip. Cut the slot at the top that allows for wires to enter the stick.
Realized that I didn't account for the height of the trim switch hat when determining the length of the front stick. With the switch hat in place it contacts the bottom of the panel. The resolution will be to cut 3/4" from the top of the stick, which might be too much, or to buy a replacement stick and re cut.
