Brief Description:  Misc avionics tasks

I didn't like the fittings I had purchased for the pitot-static-AOA lines because it wasn't easy to remove the lines from the fittings so I bought replacements from Cleaveland Tools. Today I installed the replacement fittings. This included threading the fittings into the front of the ADAHRS. The fitting came with Teflon tape installed but I also used titeseal on the threads.

Ran the main aft avionics bay wire bundle to the forward seat underfloor and secured the wires in the bundle together with lacing cord

Drilled out the rivets (4 pulled rivets and 2 solid rivets) that held attach brackets that I had installed on the mid and lower longerons to support the mounting plate for the E-bus fuse block. Since I decided to go with the battery tray mounted bracket the original brackets had to be removed.

Painted the rear control stick base

Drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the RH arm rest and installed a grommet for the ELT antenna. The antenna will slide in from below the arm rest and will be supported by the grommet around the shaft a few inches up from the base.

Began fabrication of a bracket for the ELT antenna. The bracket will be located under the RH rear armrest and attach the to armrest and the F807 bulkhead. It will be attached with screws to allow removal of the antenna as required.
