Brief Description:  Tailcone assembly

Increased the countersink on some of the holes on the RH lower longeron.

Scuffed, cleaned and primed the angles that help connect the lower longerons to the skin.

Riveted the F-811 and F-812 bulkheads to the skin. Some had to be drilled out and replaced, some are ugly but this is one of the areas that most people have trouble with due to the curvature and tight quarters.

Installed the two keeper rivets that hold the tailwheel mount to the F812 bulkhead before the bolts common to the vertical stabilizer spar are installed.

Clecoed the lower aft skin/bulkhead assembly to the aft side skins and the forward structure. Discovered a gap between the tailwheel spring mount and the F812 bulkhead, so I disassembled the tailcone, removed the two bolts in through the F811 bulkhead and tailwheel mount and fabricated a .-035 inch shim between the F811 and the tailwheel mount. I then reinstalled the aft skin assembly on the side skins.

Clecoed the remaining tailcone bulkheads in place. Riveted the baggage bulkheads to the F-809 bulkhead.

Clecoed the lower aft skin to the fuselage structure.
