The instructions directs you to temporarily install the stator and determine if there is any interference. Ther was adequate instructions as to how to determine that using a permanent marker a noting if there was any rubbing of the marked area. Luckily mine had no interference so I did not have to make any adjustments.
The challenge was to remove the stator because of the strong magnets holdng it in place. Its a real finger pincher risk.
