Big time consuming error. The plans which came with the Hydrolic Barke upgrade provided dementions based only on a tricycle gear airplane. Nowhere on the plan did it give a clue that these are not correct if you are building a taildragger. So I initially fabricated per the plans, then later in the build when I installed on the landing gear, my wheel pants pointed down. Wow! What a disaster, which could have been avoided if Sonex would have written one sentence somewhere in plans or other documentation. When confromting Sonex Tech Support they referred me to a bulders web site who had documentation on how to correctly fabricate these parts. He too, apparently, first made the same mistake.
This required me to disassemble my wheel and brake assemblies, remake the brake mounting plate an re-install all. This took several days including the research time.
