I was lucky and had a friend who built a fiberglass plane. He had materials which we mixed together to fill the seam grove and repaired the over cut area. Once the fiberglass cured (dried) there was a lot of hand sanding needed.
The overcut area was an error due to the hydrolic brake plans providing cut dementions based only on a tricycle geaared aircraft. I found out after I had cut the wheel pants. This error wasted a lot of time and affected the wheel pant and brake mounting plate. Mor on this on other pages.
