Installing the Gland Nut and Washer was a real challenge. A lot of planning went into the step prior to the operation. I was able to borrow a big digital torque rench from my auto mechanic and had a friend who used to do mechanic work at my garage to assist me.
The Engine was stapped down on my tool table and a two-by-four bolted to the prop hub and positioned so that it would keep the engine from turning. One person appiled additional pressure to hold the engine while the other operated the tourque wrench, The tourque was appled in steps until the required level was achieved.
The video was much more help on this step than the manual.
I later had to do undo this step because I made a mistake on the number of end-play shims I needed. So basically we did it twice and it wasn't any easier the second time.
