Placed and secured hinge in place to specs then drilled the hinge. After removing the hinge pin and flap I deburred the hinge clecoed it back in placeand lightly ran a reamer through the holes. After drilling out a bad rivet I notied that all the rivets werent as flush as I would have liked but all in all it looks ok. I then sharpened the end of the the pin and oiled it lightly . This time around I decided to cut the L off the end first and then put the pin in a cordless drill . The pin slid in 90% of the way in a few minutes with a little prodding at the end. Next you have to disconnect the push rod and move the aileron to back drill a 3/32" hole in the inboard aileron bracket. about a 1/4 of an inch below the level of where the pin whould go if it were level. I then bent the pin down while tapping the pin through the hole. This part would be alot easier with a helping hand. I let the pin stick out of the brace a little so any movement in the future would be easy to spot on pre-flight.
