Brief Description: Rivet R.E. bairings to pushrod first attempt.
After getting my V jig and boelube I was all set to go , go screw everything up that is. First I should have used a drill punch to start and then use a #40 bit before drilling to final size . The powder coated surface and curve make the bit wander. Also I should have better secured the jig as it moved unknown to me . On my next attempt I forgot to stagger the two rivet holes by .21" . The rod end goes .63" into the tube. The 4-12 are two long and I shortened them to 4-11 Well it was a learning experience . I'll have to call Vans and order all new stuff and try again.
