Winter is definitly here, but the days are getting longer finally...Work has been slow(at my regular job) the last couple of weeks, so I will be making more progress on my 701,,, so look for more frequent updates...
This project by the way....is being constructed IN MY FRONT LIVING ROOM, yes in my house!
Building my CH701 in my front room because it will always be in my face and motivating me more than a project that is in my garage or hanger somewhere that i can close the door on and walk away from for longer periods of time.
This aircraft has been flying for about 20yrs and the kit is available from Zenithair.com in a variety of configurations! Check it out and the other aircraft they offer!
This aircraft is being built with the aide of HomebuiltHELP.com and the Jon Crokes dvd series "Building your Zenith CH701"

Addtionally, it is going to be built Without slats and instead utilizing VG's (Vortex Generators) from StolSpeed.com
It will be mostly polished instead of painted to conserve weight. Steel parts will be painted or coated with CermaChrome.
The powerplant is going to be a 6 cyclinder Corvair 3100cc/130HP) ..This is a flight tested proven engine and will be built by William Wynne at FlyCorvair.com
Trivia about the builder: Single 53yrs young with one dependent Mr. Morris a spoiled rotten cat.
3600 hr pilot with ATP/MEL COMM/SEL,SES,Glider & CFIA...
Work continues...with Mr.Morris doing the progressive quality control inspections...
