Riveted left OB wing structure: Finished match drilling the rest of the ribs to the spar. Then bolted, screwed and riveted the ribs to the main and trailing edge spar. Everything seemed to fit ok, no problems. Need to drill and rivet the bearing block brace onto the 2nd rib and will then be ready to skin the wing.
I received a replacement elevator root rib from Sonex yesterday, the original was malformed and caused the trailing edge of the right elevator to be about 3/8" lower than the left. I have already drilled out the bad rib and will probably work on that next before getting back to the wings. I think I may assemble the right OB wing structure before skinning the wings. Would like to get some of these loose parts (ribs, attach brackets, spacers, etc) assembled and out of the way.
Weather has been unberable the past several days and is going to continue for another week or more. May get up to 100 next week in addition to very high humidity. Makes the shop hanger very uncomfortable and have been knocking off work early in the afternoon because of the heat.
