Brief Description:  Worked on Aileron paddle assemblies

Worked on Aileron paddle assemblies: Also worked on the rib backer plates that support the aileron paddle assemblies. Countersunk the backer plate screw holes that fasten the paddle bearing assemblies. Drilled out the paddle bearing blocks to #29 for a tight 6-32 screw fit. Drilled the backer rib plate to #27 since I needed that size for my CS cutter.

My paddles are somewhat confusing. Two had pilot holes where the control stick linkage would attach however only one of those paddles could be used since the other would have the linkage connecting on the wrong side of the paddle. The other two paddles had no pilot hole for that linkage so had to locate and drill the hole. Two of the paddles also have a pilot hole in one of the paddle faces that doesn't appear necessary. Also had to file or open up the cutout for the paddle block in the two outter thin ribs.

The OneX kit has been in production for over a year now and over 100 kits have been sold. I'm surprised they still have obvious part manufacturing issues. The parts are usable but the extra holes and cutout problems are confusing for the builder.
