Brief Description: Verify Fuel tank fit and drilled Registration plat
Verified fuel tank fit and drilled the registration plate and temperature probe to the rear fuselage side. The plate and probe are just underneath the horizontal stabilizer. The registration plate has to be located here and this is also a good location for the outside temperature probe, in the shade of the horizontal stabilizer and away from the engine.
I wont attach the registration plate until the airplane is painted and I have the plate engraved with the appropriate information. I decided to install the temperature probe now because running the wires in the rear fuselage is easier with the turtle deck and floor panel not installed.
Also spent about 1 hour disassembling and deburring sections of the front fuselage that I had updrilled for AN3 hardware for the splice plates.
