Brief Description: Started assembling left outer wing
Started assembling left outer wing: Discovered premade spar had a plate at the root folding rib end that was about 1/32" inch too long and this prevented the rear rib attach bracket holes from lining up properly. I used a rasp to trim the plate end flush with the other spar components which then allowed the root or folding rib to fit properly. Also located all parts needed for the left outer wing so I should be able to start drilling the ribs to the spar tomorrow. Will also need to grind out the spar web that covers up a portion of the short aileron pushrod pass-through, per plans.
