Brief Description: Finished assembling the wing fold ribs and bearing
Finished assembling the wing fold ribs, bearing blocks, paddles and short spars. Needed to file a bit on the openings for the bearing blocks to insure they fit flat against the ribs.
Since the rib backer plates are exposed when the wings are folded and can't really paint the surface, I think I will engine turn the surfaces with a 1" Scotch Brite pad on a Dremmel tool. I have done this on stainless steel firewalls and it should look good on the rib plates.
